If you haven't already tried it, I second the guess of it being the grill, and tightening a few screws can sometimes solve it.
Really nice amp you got there!
They did use the library in the Slane castle. Perhaps Lanois has a thing for libraries!
Thought the Unforgettable album was cut in the Slane Castle...
If it brings back my youth too, I'm in!
I'd go one step further and say don't use the 4033's on piano. My experience with a pair of 4033's on piano was disappointing. Not sure if it was the specific 4033s I had but I noticed slight...
Thanks.
Where do you take your measurements from?
Do you look for standing wave problem areas?
Do you measure the areas in the direct line of the speakers?

Don't know, but here's my guess "umschaltbar" = switchable.
Yes to the TLM 193, the one I have can take an amazing amount of SPL for vocalists with a power voice and a cutting tone. I've had it work very well on bass and cello. Don't remember ever reaching...
So why a double album. They could've split it with the same value and effect, a one copy only album and a widely released album, and basically doubled down money-wise. Or split the double into two...
Happy Birthday Lynn! Thanks for hosting this forum.
Love this! Thanks for posting.
Also, I sent a PM to QNote the other day, forget exactly which day, but only about 2 or 3 days ago. It doesn't show in my "sent" folder, so I assume it didn't get sent. If you see this post QNote,...
Not sure about the "good sound quality" part and although people building their own speakers is not new, 3D printing them is.

Fair assessment. I think the lack of album buying is also due to the fact there's just so much more music out there. Who wants to take the time to listen to a full length album these days of one...
