I have the Lexicon Native Reverb and to me it's significantly better than any other software reverb I've used - not including convolution.

Having never played a banjo I can't recommend this.

Since you mentioned Audio Technica, how about an AT 4051. It's a small diaphram with interchangable capsules. The cardioid capsule sounds the same to me as the 4041.

Generally speaking, Lumix cameras are very, very good, in my opinion.
I'd get one if I needed it.
