    Default Prism Orpheus

    Anyone tried it ?
What is it worth ? converters, preamps ?
Any idea if it can work as a standalone with Ptools LE ?

It's awesome! One of the best AD/DA I have heard. It's a step up for sure over my Lynx Aurora.

The preamps are excellent as well though a tad clean but not sterile.

Headphone amps sound really really good.

I hate the firewire aspect as I cannot quite get the latency performance I'd like but it's still an excellent performer.

But the AD/DA - is world class absolutely staggering!

At 96khz it's about 128 samples perfectly, 64 is pushing it and 32 is a no no.

Compared to the Lynx PCI card 32 samples at 96khz is effortless.
