    Who cares if the markets are tanking? Eric Persing finally released Omnisphere today!!

    The videos are fascinating. This is going to be a game changer as far as synth plug-ins are concerned. Persing is amazing.

    UPS delivered it and I installed it yesterday. It's absolutely amazing. Deep, and yet easy to use. The presets are endless, and there's 40 GB of content. I can tell I'm going to get a ton of use out of it.

    It's pretty processor intensive, though. A multi-core Intel Mac would probably be best, but it seems to work well in my Logic/TDM rig on a DP 2.5 Ghz G5. Fortunately, since Logic has a freeze function, I can just freeze parts and use it as much as I want in AU on the Logic side. It might be a rough go with RTAS, though, considering RTAS's inefficiency.

    Also, I've got to say that the Spectrasonics CP scheme is the best in the business. It's really painless, like all the other Spectrasonics products. Hope it's keeping things secure for them, and that they're selling lots of copies because they really deserve to.
