Ever sussed out Fairlight MfX Dream Series?

Hi.I recently had the opportunity to demo a new Fairlight Dream series product - the "Satellite". I was totally impressed with the sound and ease of operation of this thing. Fairlight use their own convertors, and even at 48kHz the sound was clear and open. It is the platform I myself have decided to go for.
I have found there is a lot of resistance/disbelief amanogst DAW users on various forums re Fairlight's product. To me (please my own humble opinion) it is a superior platform to Radar and proTools. Any possibility of a future analysis of this contender?

    Kind regards http://www.fairlightesp.com/

I own a Fairlight Merlin an it is the best! If you are doing post work the Dream is great, but if you are doing music I would urge you to get a Merlin and a Sony DMX-R100 console. I have found this combination to be perfect. It sounds great and is functionally way ahead of eveything else for anywhere near the money. By the way I'm using the Mytek converters to feed my Merlin. This also helps make the DB-50 cables a little easier to build. Have you heard the JLM pres from down under?
