Very sorry to hear of your loss, Doug.
Am I the only one without a small type signature?

Remember a while back when I posted about having a very good day surrounded by my family and feeling very greatful for having that time? I'm remembering that day right now. It was very sudden and he passed in our arms on his favorite dog bed without having suffered. Had we waited, in a few hours he would have been in some major distress....unable to walk at all and in an ever escalating state of pain. I'm very greatful to our wonderful friend who is a vet for coming over tonight and helping him along before he started experiencing any real distress. My wife is absolutely devastated and I am feeling very empty and sad tonight............the opposite of the way I felt when I posted on that good day. I knew this day would come......just not that it would be today. In memory of Crash, I ask you to please look around you tonight and appreciate those you love.

Thanks everyone. I thought I heard him scratching at the door at 5:30 and got up to let him out to pee. This is going to take some time.
