Default Studio Legends: "Hall of Fame" gear

I'm putting together a list of gear that is Hall of Fame worthy. A list of things that most studios would or should have. My original intent was outboard gear, but mics would definitely deserve a nod in this category. I'd love your suggestions or thoughts.

    Outboard would include:

    Teletronix LA2A
    Universal 1176
    Pultec EQP-1A
    Fairchild 660 limiter
    Lexicon 480L

Considering a series of articles about this gear, its history and focusing on tips for its usage. Tips that would also apply to the software versions of the same.

The elites have squandered the country's wealth on two of the costliest and most useless wars in American history while blithely pretending that the environmental crisis doesn't exist. We no longer have any mechanisms within the formal structures of power that will protect or advance our rights.

I don't know that I have ever been in a studio that had a pice of Orban gear, but I do love my JBL monitors.

Hmmm.... after some careful thinking... I don't think I've been to a well stocked studio that didn't have one of the various flavors of an AKG 414 laying around somewhere.

    And... a lava lamp? :-/

If gear extends to the lounge, maybe ...

Hey, I've got an Orban stereo parametric I got off fleabay broken for like $20. Fixed it for $0.00 and slapped it in the rack. It's pretty fun for certain things.
