What's to say? Extraordinary mouse with tactile (meaning fingerprints) for fader control so it seems. Haven't seen one, and as far as I know, doesn't have any sound, so I didn't read much other than what a few people had to say.

There was a lot of talk when it debuted at the AES show. There should be one coming to Nashville soon (weeks). They want me to go see it. May write a magazine review.

Looks expensive. Also looks like it would create a large acoustic shadow between my monitors & me. As with any new technology, I'll wait until about version 3 before I start getting too interested.

    From Mr Slate ...

    Prices for MTX: stereo: $15,999 - 7.1 surround: $17,499
    Price for MTi: $3499
The MTI features the same touch display technology with nanoglide glass, control software, and state of the art digitally controlled analog monitor section in a smaller 27" table top package with less i/o in the analog section.

For me, out of the question.

Possible. And by being smaller, not an issue with getting in the way of the monitors. Still, I want to see several versions & bug fixes pass before I take too serious of a look.
