Thread: Mackie d8b...Anyone use one with an analog machine?

    I honestly wouldn't even use one for a headphone mixer. Go buy an old TAC or a Matchless or a Soundcraft. You'll actually get to hear what's going on in the session...

    Honestly, for all the headaches that it would bring with it, I think a cheap used Mackie would be a better choice. I don't ever recall anyone talking favorably about their reliability. And having a studio built around one? Well, maybe in 1998.
