John Hall: I have a question for you

    John,

I have a question for you...

I am making a 16 or 32 channel custom console out of some old mono modules and some telefunken summing modules and I'm trying to figure out panning and aux sends.

    Recently on ebay I saw:
    This really looked interesting:
    1.) A quad 8 / langevin/ electrodyne panning and aux module
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=3278

    and
2.) SSL 5000 series SL527 Stereo Program/Pan module with aux sends
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=3278

Did you design the electrodyne module? Would you make any circuit changes? Is that the module I should use or should I use something else? Like a neve module or perhaps something modern? Just curious..

I'd love to hear what you think.

    Thanks!

I don't reconize it. Must have been made during one of the times I was away. The meter is not one of the best made. It has to be recleibrated if moved. Acts like a compus. It looks good. Its probably worth more than asking proce just for the componants inside. If you don't want it I will bid on it. Let me know.

    Hey John
I recently purchased a pair of Electrodyne 809 EQs which sound really smooth. I am however, getting 15db of gain I have no use for.
    A 1 Frame Ground
    b 2 Ground
    C 3 IN HI
    D 4 +28
    E 5 GND
    F 6 GND
    H 7 OUT HI
    J 8 OUT LO
    K 9 ?
    L 10 ?
Is the only documentation I was given. Is there a way of taking away all that gain?

    Thanks
