Yikes! I never even thought of that one. I can't promise I won't. The Dither CD is the only one that I will never make. Hmm.

The analog variants were SSL 9K, Trident 24, Manley 16x2, Dangerous 2 Bus, and Fletcher's Yamaha PM-2000.

i was surprised to read you thought the SSL was the most 'digital' of the lot. Is this cause it was so bright? maybe even a bit crunchy? i've noticed they can sound crunchy or 'midrange pronounc

Some people call it "aggressive" or "radio" or "punchy." I call it "crunchy" and "harsh" and "biting." I was not fond of the sound of it at all. That did not surprise me at all. I don't have a long love affair with SSLs unlike most people in this town, and elsewhere.

    Oh, I remember now.

I was going to count to that number. It comes after two, but it's not four. It's, it's.....
