    Very interesting comparison. Certainly got me thinking about a change in my gear.

    Since neither RADAR nor tape has the capability to mix, I would assume they were fed through the same analog mixer channels for consistency...so, testing ProTools and Nuendo as "glorified decks", shouldn't they have actually named the a/d/a converters used with both those systems?

    I would think that would have more to do with the sound than the "storage medium".
